Global Evidence on Peace, Emotional Wellbeing and Health
13 de outubro @ 13:30 - 15:00

As world leaders gather in Berlin for the World Health Summit 2025, Gallup is delighted to invite you to our side meeting exploring the vital links between peace, emotional wellbeing and health.
Drawing on new Gallup research — based on more than 145,000 interviews in 144 countries in 2024 and spanning two decades of global data — this conversation will present insights from Gallup’s latest report, State of the World’s Emotional Health 2025, launched in partnership with the World Health Summit. This year’s report is the first to examine daily emotional experiences alongside peace and health.
The findings show that daily experiences of anger, worry, sadness, stress and physical pain remain elevated worldwide. Where peace is fragile, negative emotions rise and health risks deepen; where peace is stronger, people report less emotional distress. The evidence underscores the interdependence of peace, health and wellbeing: Peace and prosperity reinforce one another, enabling not just better lives — but longer ones.
This high-level discussion will bring together policymakers, scholars and business leaders to explore:
key findings from Gallup’s State of the World’s Emotional Health 2025 report
the interdependence of peace, health and wellbeing — at the heart of the Sustainable Development Goals
why emotions serve as “vital signs,” revealing the health of societies beneath the surface of GDP and growth rates
why progress on one requires investment in the others
how global evidence can guide smarter, more resilient policies
